Day 1 – Sunday 12th October 2025

Depart Sydney and travel south to the coastal holiday town of Ulladulla for lunch. Our journey continues as we travel through the beautiful towns of Narooma, Bermagui and Merimbula to the picturesque town of Eden, our base for the next 3 nights. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the comfort of the motel’s restaurant.

 

Day 2 – Monday 13th October 2025

This morning we visit the Eden Information Centre before being joined by a local guide who will take us on an interesting tour of Eden and surrounds. The tour takes in sights such as the Seaman’s Memorial and Rotary Park Lookout, Snug Cove and the Eden Wharf area, Mary McKillop Hall, the Eden Historic Cemetery, National Timber Worker’s Memorial and Maritime Heritage Walk. Along the way our guide will also give a brief history on heritage sights and points of interest, such as Eden’s flag mast and the Hotel Australasia. Stop at the historic Seahorse Inn at Boydtown for lunch, then continue to Boyd Tower (built in 1847) within the Beowa National Park (previously Ben Boyd National Park), where we can take a short walk down to the tower and enjoy commanding views across the bay. This afternoon we explore the Killer Whale Museum which has been in operation for over 80 years, before returning to the motel for the evening.

 

Day 3 – Tuesday 14th October 2025

Today we travel through glorious countryside to Tilba Tilba to explore the simply stunning Foxglove Spires Gardens, ravishing in spring colour. Enjoy lunch in the gardens surrounded by glorious blooms, then continue on to the heritage listed town of Central Tilba. Explore the perfectly restored period village with quaint shops like the Tilba Dairy, Tilba Sweet Spot, Mockingbird Lane Antiques, Gulaga Gallery, Tilba Leather to name a few. This afternoon we stop at Wheeler’s Oyster Farm for a tour of the state-of-the-art factory and tasting, then back to Eden.

 

Day 4 – Wednesday 15th October 2025

Bags packed and on board the coach, we bid farewell to Eden and travel to the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre. Enjoy morning tea and a chance to learn about their world famous cheese. We stop for lunch at a coastal location along the way before visiting Historic Jindyandy Mill in Pyree, which was built by convicts in 1830. The surrounding buildings hold an array of gifts, craft, art, antiques, food and more. This afternoon we return to Sydney, arriving back at around 6:30pm.
